Islander Lights

Marking the end of the Fall semester and the beginning of the winter holidays, Islander Lights has been celebrated by Islanders and community members alike for more than 14 years. As a beloved university tradition, and special part of the trail of lights along the Corpus Christi bayfront, the celebration unique to the Island campus has united the community in the holiday spirit by celebrating the blue and green glow of the campus holiday lights and decorations.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer the usual Islander Lights annual celebration this year. However, keeping in the Islander holiday spirit, Dr. Kelly Miller and the Islander Lights planning committee invite all Islander students, alumni, family, and friends to visit campus and the newest display of holiday lights and the chance to capture festive winter photos!<

Lights will be up from November 20, 2020 - January 1, 2021.

We encourage all Islander Students, Alumni, employees and members of the community to come to campus any evening, see the lights and take pictures.
